WHO: Dryly

WHAT: Bed wetting alarm

DRYLY supports children and their parents in overcoming bed wetting challenges with a positive approach. Their bed wetting alarm, featuring the cuddly panda named Wizzu and engaging game elements, motivates children to actively work towards a solution. VEDS Group handles the production and assembly, including software installation and final testing. We also redesigned the PCBAs, refined the mechanical components and developed the embedded software, ensuring the product is both effective and user-friendly.

WHO: Ingenico Worldline

WHAT: Payment terminals

The Valina, Yumi, and Yomani are payment terminals from INGENICO (a Worldline brand) that have become ubiquitous in today's world. Valina facilitates unmanned payments at locations like car parks and petrol stations, while Yomani, the latest in wireless payment technology, is a staple in retail environments. Ensuring secure, reliable transactions is paramount. VEDS Group contributes to this by designing PCB's, enhancing signal integrity, implementing PCB security, and handling prototyping and pre-series production, safeguarding the integrity of every payment.

WHO: OpenTherm Association

WHAT: OpenTherm Testtool

"OpenTherm is a multipoint-to-point communication protocol for use in home climate control. This is a non-manufacturer-dependent communication system between modulating HVAC heating appliances and room thermostats.  It consists of a communication protocol and an interface specification," says OPENTHERM ASSOCIATION. For this purpose, VEDS Group designed the test tool in cooperation with OpenTherm Association, enabling their customers to develop new products using this test tool. VEDS Group developed the hardware, software and arranged the mechanical elements. We also assembled the first small series of the device.

WHO: Praxa Sense

WHAT: Afi heart rhythm sensor

The Afi by PRAXA SENSE is a compact monitoring system designed to detect common cardiac arrhythmias early, ensuring optimal long-term patient monitoring while significantly reducing manual labor for hospital staff. VEDS Group is responsible for the hardware and embedded software design, as well as the production, testing, and assembly of this highly accurate and reliable device.

WHO: InMotion (Sponsor project)

WHAT: Electric formula 1 car

INMOTION, a team of visionary students from the Technical University of Eindhoven (TU/e), dreams of driving a fully electric Formula E car in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, aiming to create the world’s most innovative race car. VEDS Group collaborated with HUDL on hardware and PCB design, mechanics and the production of prototypes and the first serie production.

WHO: Wolk BV

WHAT: Hip protection airbag

The Wolk by WOLK BV, the first hip airbag in the Netherlands, significantly reduces hip fractures among the elderly by inflating upon detecting a fall, ensuring a softer landing. This innovation empowers seniors with reduced balance to walk confidently again. VEDS Group contributed by designing the hardware, developing prototypes, producing the first series of PCBAs and supporting the software design, playing a key role in bringing this life-enhancing technology to market.

WHO: Ipos Technology BV (no longer exists )

WHAT: Rein sensors

IPOS TECHNOLOGY was a Dutch company that offered rein sensors that provide riders with valuable data on training schedules, soundness, rhythm, straightness, contact and the horse's overall lightness. Their goal was to integrate technology into equestrian sports to prevent horse injuries by monitoring rider impact and horse health. Ipos partnered with us to create the Rein Sensor, a device placed between the rein and the bit to measure pulling force, displayed in real-time via an app. Despite challenges like budget constraints, sensitivity requirements, and durability, we successfully developed, produced, and tested the solution to meet Ipos's needs. These products are no longer available.
