After years of experience, we have developed into a complete all-in-one shop, where we also offer Mechanics design to our customers. But what do the tasks of a mechanical designer at the VEDS Group actually look like?
First of all, of course, the questions arise to find out what the core of the problem is: how should the product function and what should it look like. How big can the product be? What requirements are there for the product? Several questions that determine the functioning of the product. We then go through a completely creative process, which varies from quick hand sketches to elaborate injection molded parts.
From 3D prints to detailed force calculations. This with programs such as CREO or Solid Works. Of course, these decisions are always in consultation between our in-house Mechanics and PCB designers, which ensures that the integration between both sides runs smoothly and that we can offer you the best possible solution.
